Solution: security errror of SMB1, when win10 accesses samba service.

As requirement of project, I configured samba service in internal network, sharing a dictionary to

clients.

but some colleagues feedback that they can’t access sharing dictionary, the error is smb1 is out of date.

unsecure. and I found these colleagues run WIN10 OS.

steps of solution.

1. edit gpedit.

2. Click “Computer Configuration”, “Administrator Templates, “Lanman Workstation” one by one.

Then double click “Enable insecure guest logons”, and chose “Enabled” ,clicking “OK” to confirm

this setting in the last.

3. exit gpedit.

4. Open control panel, clicking “Programs and Features”

5. Click “Turn Windows feature on or off”, and then pitch on “SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support”

and “SMB Direct”. Click “ok” to confirm this setting.

6. restart you PC.
